Language: German
Authors: Warnecke, Friederike
Issue Date: 15-Jun-2017
Abstract:

The subject of this bachelor thesis is the development of a 15 minutes movie, which gives an insight behind the scenes of the Thalia theatre. A movie that displays the candidness and cooperativeness of the theatre community.
As the protagonist, I am in the center of a documentary journey, which wants to captures the spirit of the Thalia theatre. A camera partakes in my journey from a strategical perspective to observe the open interaction between the theatre staff and myself.
This project as well as the documentation of it starts with the development of my general idea. Out of that, the concept of the movie has been substantiated in form of a storyboard, that results in the plan-ning phase. This second phase is focusing on the scheduling, the organization of the equipment as well as the organization of the crew, securing the approval of the theatre and also the production of the movie props. All these factors need to be coordinated. In the third phase of the project most of the attention lies on the shooting, which intersected with the fourth phase, the postproduction, at least in the beginning, until the postproduction shifts into the main focus. The project was documented during the whole time, it ended in the fifth and last phase in which the documentation was finalized and the project reflected.
