Language: German
Authors: Hergert, Stanislav
Issue Date: 22-Feb-2012
Abstract:

This paper includes an analysis of logistic influence on production process. The context is analysed in A380 program of Airbus Operations Company. Especially the scope is limited to the supply chain system of the complete cabin furnishing of an Airbus A380.
The research of actual literature confirmed that the control of complexity and stable processes are indispensable for an efficient supply chain system. An ideal concept for the supply chain system depends on several factors, which are discussed in this thesis.
Based on a detailed analysis of the current situation in the actual supply chain system of cabin components in A380 program are identified the main weaknesses by using the system theoretical approach and a cause-analysis of blocking points in production process. They are also discussed in this thesis.
The result is an optimized concept for supplying the cabin components based on a detailed qualitative evaluation of logistic influence on production by observation of weaknesses and regarding of actual internal improvement projects. The concept contains six recommendations. They add in combination with the improvement projects to an efficient supply chain system. Beside the deployment of a systematically detailed approach for a cause-analysis, which has to stabilize the supply chain processes, flow of information and material regarded proposals are planned.
For a successful implementation of the recommended improvements an investment is needed. The dimensions have to be identified in further steps. The improvement establishes the preconditions for an efficient supply chain system, which is modified for a small-lot production in aircraft industry.
