Title: Überprüfung und Reduzierung der Ozonbelastung zur Sicherstellung der Arbeitssicherheit am Beispiel der Druckerei der HSU
Language: German
Authors: Six, Marcel
Issue Date: 3-Feb-2015
Abstract:

The topic of this work has to do with the issue of ozone pollution inside of a printing office working with laser printers. It also deals with the negative effects of ozone concerning the occupational health and safety and information about the possibilities to reduce the ozone concentrations and improve the occupational health and safety is given. The above average ozone values in the examined printing office have been noticeable for a longer period of time now and they were also recorded and confirmed during a measuring by TÜV Nord.
The purpose of this work is to check the ozone pollution over a defined period of time it is also trying to show that it is possible to reduce the ozone concentrations by employing different adsorbent materials.
This was done by conducting several different test series. These were split into two parts: part one was to establish the basis to compare to the second part, where the thesis for the adsorption was tested.
The test results show that there are indeed heightened ozone values inside the printing office. Yet, it also shows how effective the used adsorbent materials are.
